Pharmacotherapeutic group: vitamin remedy+other drugs
ATX code: A 11 AB
Pharmacological properties
A combined preparation containing a complex of vitamins, trace elements and plant carotenoids.
The pharmacological action of the drug is determined by the properties of its constituent components.
Compatibility of the components in 1 tablet is provided by a special production technology for vitamin preparations.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – regulates the permeability of capillaries, plays an important role in maintaining their elasticity. Activates the activity of the endocrine glands, regulates blood clotting, tissue regeneration, formation of steroid hormones, and collagen synthesis. It has a stimulating effect on the body as a whole, increases its adaptive capabilities, resistance to infections and adverse effects.
Thiamine (vitamin B – 1) – is involved in the process of transmitting an impulse along a nerve fiber. Participates in the coordination of the functioning of the nervous, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems. It plays a key role in ensuring the normal flow of energy metabolism.
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) – participates in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, in the synthesis of hemoglobin and erythropoietin. Essential for maintaining normal visual function.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) – as a coenzyme takes part in the metabolism of amino acids and carbohydrates. Ensures the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system.
Folic acid-as a coenzyme is involved in various metabolic processes necessary for the synthesis of nucleic acids. It has an anti-anemic effect.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) – participates in the synthesis of nucleotides, is an important factor in hematopoiesis and normal growth of epithelial cells; it is necessary for folic acid metabolism and myelin synthesis.
Rutoside (rutin) – participates in redox processes, has antioxidant properties, prevents oxidation and promotes the deposition of ascorbic acid in tissues. Strengthens capillary walls by regulating their permeability. Reduces swelling and inflammation, strengthens the vascular wall.
Retinol (vitamin A) – as a component of the visual pigment rhodopsin, it is important in maintaining visual function, ensures the normal activity of the visual analyzer and the perception of light by the eye. It is effective for hemeralopia (“chicken blindness”), diseases of the retina and cornea. It is involved in the regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes.
alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E)– has antioxidant properties, supports the stability of red blood cells, has a positive effect on the functions of the sex glands, nervous and muscle tissue. Participates in the processes of tissue respiration, affects the function of the endocrine glands, slows down the aging process of body tissues.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids, yellow pigments necessary for the normal functioning of the retina. Protect the eye from damage caused by exposure to ultraviolet light. They are components of the retinal antioxidant system, one of the most important eye protection factors. Lutein and zeaxanthin located in the lens and retina protect the photoreceptors of cells from oxygen radicals formed during the adverse effects of radiation of various origins on the eye. The low content of lutein and zeaxanthin in the eye tissues leads to a weakening of the eye’s ability to resist adverse factors, prolonged visual loads, and computer radiation.
Selenium is a natural antioxidant that boosts the immune system. In combination with vitamins A, E and C, it has a pronounced antioxidant effect, improves the adaptive abilities of the body under the influence of adverse factors (stress, smoking, environmental pollution).
Copper-is a catalyst for many biochemical reactions. Participates in the synthesis of melanin. It plays an essential role in the formation of collagen and elastin, is a necessary component of iron metabolism, and plays an important role in the process of hematopoiesis.
Zinc-promotes the utilization of vitamin A by the retina. Prevents the development of hemeralopia (“chicken blindness”). Zinc is necessary for the synthesis of insulin, hormones of the sex glands, and is necessary for the normal activity of lymphoid tissue. Zinc deficiency is associated with the development of retrobulbar neuritis, blepharitis, decreased color perception, and cataract formation.
As a result, the drug provides a balanced supply of components necessary for maintaining optimal functioning of the body, has an ophthalmoprotective effect due to the complex effect of vitamins, minerals and carotenoids included in its composition, improves vision with increased visual loads, and has an antioxidant effect (protects the eye tissue from the effects of free radicals).
Prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age.
Possible allergic reactions.
Simultaneous use with other multivitamin complexes containing vitamins A and E, B vitamins is not recommended.
Adults inside after a meal, with a sufficient amount of liquid. Take 1 tablet 1 time a day. The course duration is 3 months. Repeat courses on the doctor’s recommendation.
Symptoms: nausea, weakness, gastrointestinal disorders.
In case of overdose, you should consult a doctor.
Treatment: oral activated charcoal, gastric lavage, symptomatic treatment.
It is not recommended to exceed the recommended dose.
Possible staining of urine in an intense yellow color, which is due to the presence of riboflavin in the drug and does not pose a danger.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms
The drug does not adversely affect the ability to drive vehicles and perform other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
