Hypersensitivity to tetracycline.
Children’s age (up to 11 years).
Allergic reactions: burning, flushing of the skin, swelling or other signs of irritation.
Tetracycline hydrochloride forms hardly soluble complexes with calcium, iron and other metal ions, and therefore you should not take the drug simultaneously with milk and dairy products (because of the calcium content in them);
with antacids containing aluminum, calcium, magnesium salts; and also with iron preparations.
Externally. The ointment is applied to the affected areas of the skin 1-2 times a day (an occlusive dressing may be applied).
It is not recommended to use for deep or stab wounds, severe burns, in ophthalmology (use 1% eye ointment).
It should be borne in mind that the use of antibacterial agents for external use can lead to sensitization of the body, accompanied by the development of hypersensitivity reactions.
If the condition does not improve within 2 weeks, you should consult your doctor.
Adequate and strictly controlled studies in children under 11 years of age have not been conducted; doses for this category of patients have not been determined.
