Indications

As part of the complex therapy of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia), topically for rinsing in inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Oral use of the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Topical application for rinsing is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and child. You should consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug and other plants of the Yasnotkovye family;when taken orally: impaired liver and/or kidney function, gastritis with high acidity, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 12 years of age.

How to take, course of use and dosage

About 10 g (2-3 tablespoons) of the herb is placed in an enamel dish,200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered and infused in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml. Inside, take 1 tablespoon of warm infusion 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. Topically, for rinsing the mouth and throat, apply 1/2-1 cup of warm infusion 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Overdose

Prolonged use of high doses may cause nausea. Treatment: symptomatic.
