Composition

1 tablet for resorption contains:

Active ingredients:

Atropinum sulfuricum D5 12.5 mg,

Hepar sulfuris D3 10 mg,

Kalium bichromicum D4 50 mg,

Silicea D2 5 mg,

Mercurius bijodatus D8 25 mg;

Auxiliary substances:

lactose monohydrate;

sucrose;

magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological action

Tonsilotren has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications

As part of complex therapy for:

• angina (catarrhal, lacunar, follicular);
• chronic tonsillitis;
• to accelerate the healing of the pharyngeal mucosa after removal of the tonsils.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to chromium or other components of Tonsilotren;
• lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption;
• children under 3 years of age (insufficient clinical data).

With caution: hyperthyroidism.

Side effects

Increased salivation is possible (it is necessary to reduce the dose or stop taking the drug).

In some cases — allergic skin reactions (itching, rashes).

How to take, course of use and dosage

Tonsilotren is taken orally, slowly dissolving, half an hour before or half an hour after a meal. Children 3-5 years old should dissolve the tablet in a small amount of liquid or give it in crushed form, under the tongue.

In the acute course of the disease, adults and children after 12 years — 1 tablet every hour for 1-2 days (no more than 12 times a day) until improvement occurs, then-1-2 tablets 3 times a day until complete recovery; children 3-12 years-1 tablet every 2 hours for 1-2 days (no more than 8 times a day) until improvement occurs, then-1 tablet 3 times a day until complete recovery.

For chronic tonsillitis, adults and children after 12 years — 1-2 tablets 3 times a day; children 3-12 years – 1 tablet 3 times a day. The duration of admission is 6-8 weeks.

It is recommended to conduct repeated courses of treatment (several times a year) after consulting a doctor.

Special instructions

When using homeopathic medicines at the beginning of treatment, temporary deterioration may occur.
