Pharmacological action
Pharmaceutical group:
angioprotective agent.
Pharmaceutical action:
Flavonoid (rutin derivative), has P-vitamin activity; has venotonizing, angioprotective, decongestant, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
It participates in redox processes, blocks hyaluronidase, stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes, reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, and increases their tone. Increases the density of the vascular wall, reduces exudation of the liquid part of the plasma and diapedesis of blood cells.
Reduces inflammation in the vascular wall, limiting the adhesion of platelets to its surface. Patients with chronic venous insufficiency are recommended to use both in the initial and late stages of the disease. In conditions characterized by increased vascular permeability (including scarlet fever, flu, measles, allergic reactions), it is used in combination with ascorbic acid to enhance its effect.
Non-toxic, has a wide range of therapeutic effects.
Indications
Varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency with such manifestations as static heaviness in the legs, leg ulcers, trophic skin lesions, superficial thrombophlebitis, periflebitis, phlebothrombosis, leg ulcers, dermatitis, hemorrhoids, post-thrombotic syndrome, diabetic microangiopathy, retinopathy, hemorrhagic diathesis (increased capillary permeability), including measles, scarlet fever, flu, side vascular effects of radiation therapy, post-traumatic edema, hematoma, prevention of complications after venous surgery.
