Troxerutin Vramed has venotonizing, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, and antioxidant effects. Flanovoid (a rutin derivative), has P-vitamin activity; has venotonizing, angioprotective, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects. Its pharmacodipamic properties are associated with the involvement of troxerutin bioflavonoids in redox processes and hyaluronidase inhibition.
By inhibiting hyaluronidase, troxerutin stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes and reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, increases their tone.
It has antioxidant activity, as a result of which it prevents the oxidation of ascorbic acid, epinephrine and lipids. Prevents damage to the basement membrane of endothelial cells when exposed to various factors.
Troxerutin reduces exudative inflammation in the vascular wall by limiting platelet adhesion to its surface.
As a result of treatment with troxerutin, the feeling of heaviness in the legs disappears, tissue swelling decreases, and trophic function improves.
Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and breast-feeding, in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy can only be used as prescribed by a doctor.
