Pharmacological action

Turpentine ointment is a plant-based remedy.

It has a local irritating and” distracting ” effect, which is achieved by stimulating skin receptors and local release of biologically active substances (including histamine).

It also has an antiseptic effect.

Indications

As an auxiliary agent for rheumatic pain, arthralgia, neuralgia, myalgia, lumboishialgia.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug,
• violation of the integrity or inflammatory diseases of the skin at the site of intended application,
• pregnancy and lactation.

With caution: Hepatic and / or renal insufficiency, childhood.

Side effects

Hyperemia and itching of the skin, allergic reactions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Turpentine ointment is applied externally. Rub the affected or painful areas 1-3 times a day
