Tussamag syrup should be taken orally, preferably after a meal.
Adults are prescribed 2-3 teaspoons (10-15 ml) 3-4 times a day.
Children over the age of 5 years and adolescents are prescribed 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) 3-4 times a day.
Children aged 1 to 5 years are prescribed 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2-3 times a day.
With caution, Tussamag drops should be used for oral use in alcoholism, severe liver diseases.
Tussamag syrup should be used with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Tussamag has an expectorant, bronchodilator effect. Reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions, normalizes respiratory function.

When prescribing Tussamag syrup 9% (175 g bottle) to patients with diabetes mellitus, it should be borne in mind that 1 teaspoon of sugar-free syrup contains 1.85 g of sorbitol, which is 0.15 XE.
The drug contains a plant extract, which may cause slight turbidity of the solution or the appearance of sediment in the bottle, but this does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.
