Indications

Elastic bandage Unga-BP is intended for the treatment of varicose veins of the 3rd and 4th degree, post-thrombotic condition, in the complex treatment of thrombophlebitis, after sclerosis and phlebectomy operations. UNGA-BP bandages provide therapeutic pressure in the range from 14 to 24 mm Hg, have a density of 480 g / m2.

Recommendations for use

• When applying a bandage, the bandage unwinds from itself. Start bandaging from the base of your fingers, stretching the bandage by 50-60% (leave your fingers free). Do not try to stretch the bandage to its full length unnecessarily.
• Secure the ankle joint securely by wrapping a bandage around the heel like a hammock. Then, in descending and ascending turns like a figure of eight, continue to bandage the shin. Make sure that each subsequent round covers the previous one by half.
• As you approach the knee joint, loosen the stretch of the bandage slightly. If necessary, continue to apply the bandage to the knee and hip in the same descending and ascending turns.
• When finished, secure the end of the bandage with a Velcro fastener. Similarly, a bandage is applied to other joints or muscles.
• Before the next use, the bandage should be wrapped in a roll. Start unwinding from the clasp, bend it inwards and continue to roll the bandage into a roll.

There are many ways to apply a compression bandage using an elastic bandage, and the attending physician may prescribe others for the patient.

Contraindications

Allergic reaction to any of the components in the product, acute soft tissue infections.
