Composition

Water solution stabilized by the antioxidant complex Fe (II).

Pharmacological action

Replenishes iron deficiency in the body with iron deficiency anemia of various origins, during growth, with blood loss, increased hematopoiesis.

Unifer® is an iron (II) preparation, a biologically active supplement for internal use, available in the form of a solution, packaged in ampoules of 10 ml.

Unifer® contains a chelated form of Fe (II), protected from oxidation, which is effectively transported to the absorption area, even with a low concentration of chelators in the stomach. On the other hand, Unifer® is an aqueous solution, which allows it to easily enter the body and be effectively absorbed in the epithelium of the small intestine. Thus, Unifer® is an effective drug without the side effects associated with high dosages of iron preparations.

When taking 2 ampoules a day (morning / evening), moderate iron deficiency in 95% of cases (according to a study by the MONIIK Blood Research Institute) is replenished in 2 courses of taking Unifer. With a small iron deficiency of up to 10 mmol / l of the norm,1 course of taking the drug Unifer,1 ampoule 2 times a day, is sufficient.

Unifer is well tolerated.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components, hemochromatosis, hemolytic anemia, chronic inflammatory diseases, leukemias.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Take 2 ampoules a day 1 hour before meals, dissolved in 100 ml of water. Shake the ampoule well before dissolving. Open the ampoule, breaking off the upper part at risk. The minimum course is 10-14 days. Repeat the course if necessary.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging, in a dry place protected from light and out of the reach of children at an optimal temperature from 0 to 25 degrees and a relative humidity of not more than 60%. The opened ampoule should be stored in the refrigerator for no more than a day.
