Urolesan is an antispasmodic agent of plant origin.
The drug has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic effects, increases bile formation and bile excretion, increases diuresis, acidifies urine, increases the release of urea and chlorides.
Urolesan is a complex of biologically active components, and therefore it is not possible to conduct its pharmacokinetic studies.

From the digestive system: Â dyspeptic symptoms (heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
Allergic reactions: Â itching, redness of the face, skin rash, angioedema (sore throat, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue).
Central and peripheral nervous system disorders: Â dizziness, general weakness.
From the cardiovascular system: Â increase/decrease in blood pressure.
Urolesan is used orally, before meals,1 capsule 3 times a day.
If renal and hepatic colic occurs, the single dose can be increased once to 2 capsules, then at subsequent doses it can be returned to the usual single dose (1 capsule).
Capsules should be taken without chewing, washed down with a small amount of water.
Drops are taken orally for 8-10 drops on a piece of sugar 3 times a day before meals.
With renal and hepatic colic, a single dose can be increased to 15-20 drops.
In acute conditions (including renal and hepatic colic), the duration of therapy is from 5 to 7 days, in chronic conditions-up to 1 month.
An increase in the duration and repeated course of treatment is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor.
