Pharmacological action

The product is of plant origin, has a sedative and antispasmodic (in relation to the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract) effect. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. The sedative effect is slow, but fairly stable. It also has a choleretic effect, increases the secretion of the glands of the gastrointestinal tract.

Indications

• Increased nervous excitability.
• Insomnia (violation of falling asleep).
• As part of complex therapy: functional disorders of the cardiovascular system.
• Spasms of the gastrointestinal tract.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy.

The use of the drug in the second and third trimester of pregnancy and during lactation is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and child. You should consult your doctor.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
• Children under 12 years of age.
• Congenital fructose intolerance.
• Glucose-galactose malabsorption.
• Sucrose/isomaltase deficiency.

With caution:  chronic enterocolitis.

Side effects

Possible:  lethargy, muscle weakness, drowsiness, depression, decreased performance (especially when used in high doses).

For long-term use:  constipation.

In some cases:  development of allergic reactions.

Overdose

Symptoms: it is possible to increase such side effects as lethargy, drowsiness, muscle weakness, depression, decreased performance. Treatment: symptomatic.

Special instructions

During the period of treatment with the drug, care should be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
