Composition

liquid paraffin (vaseline oil)

Oil for oral use.

In orange glass bottles with screw neck and stoppers PEi with screw-on plastic covers,25,30,40,50,100 ml

. vials in a group package.

In bottles of polyethylene terephthalate,4500 ml (for hospitals).

Pharmacological action

Pharmacological action is a laxative.

Indications

Constipation.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity;

acute inflammatory processes in the abdominal cavity;

intestinal obstruction;

febrile syndrome;

pregnancy.

Side effects

With prolonged use — intestinal atony, hypovitaminosis A, E, K

How to take, course of use and dosage

1-2 tbsp each. take a spoonful a day 2 hours after a meal. The course of treatment is no more than 5 days

Overdose

diarrhea, violation of water and electrolyte balance.

Special instructions

Do not prescribe the drug to pregnant women because of possible reflex stimulation of the uterus.

When taken orally, vaseline oil can be released through the anal sphincter and contaminate underwear.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and work with mechanisms.  The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.

Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
