Composition

Powder of rhizomes with valerian roots, hop seed powder, peppermint leaf powder, refined sugar, milk sugar, E 504 (basic magnesium carbonate-color stabilizer), E 470 (calcium stearate-an additive that prevents caking and clumping), E 171 (titanium dioxide-dye), Green Apple dye, E 901 (beeswax-glazier), sunflower oil.

Active ingredients

Valerian officinalis-has a sedative, tranquilizing effect on the central nervous system, regulates cardiac activity, has antispasmodic and choleretic properties, increases the secretion of the glandular apparatus of the gastrointestinal tract. Valerian preparations have a positive neuroregulatory effect on the activity of the heart muscle and directly on the main mechanisms of automatism of the heart and the conducting system. Valerian has coronary dilating and antihypertensive properties. Valerian is more effective with systematic and long-term use due to the slow development of therapeutic action.

Mint — used for gastritis, intestinal atony, stomach and intestinal spasms, enterocolitis. It is also used as an expectorant for colds, as a vasodilator for heart diseases. Peppermint preparations are taken for gastritis, stomach cramps, intestines, bloating, diarrhea; as an expectorant and diaphoretic agent for colds, coughs; for heart diseases, nervous disorders. Peppermint oil helps stimulate appetite and improves digestion, it also has anthelmintic properties. In Tibetan medicine, mint is used for tuberculosis of the lungs and stomach diseases.

Coplods (cones) of ordinary hops contain essential oil, bitter substance lipulin, ascorbic, hop-tanning, humulenic and valerian acids, trimethylamine, resin, gum, coloring and tannins, choline, bitterness, hypoxanthine, wax, phytoncides.
