hypromellose (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose),
macrogol (polyethylene glycol 400),

quinoline yellow.
Pharmacological action
Venolec – angioprotective agent.
The Active ingredient of the drug- diosmin belongs to the group of natural biologically active compounds. The structure of the drug also includes flavonoids- hesperidin.
The drug has an angioprotective and venotonic effect.
Reduces the extensibility of veins, increases their tone and reduces venous congestion; reduces permeability, fragility of capillaries and increases their resistance; microcirculation and lymph outflow.
With systematic use, it reduces the severity of clinical manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities.
Indications
Symptomatic therapy of venous insufficiency of the lower extremities: a feeling of heaviness and pain in the legs.
Symptomatic therapy of acute hemorrhoids.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
During pregnancy, the use of Venolec is possible.
Experimental and clinical studies have not shown embryotoxic, mutagenic and teratogenic effects.
To date, there have been no reports of any adverse effects when using the drug in pregnant women, but it is necessary to assess the risk and benefit when prescribing the drug to pregnant women.
During lactation, taking the drug is not recommended due to the lack of data on the penetration of the drug into breast milk.
Contraindications

How to take, course of use and dosage
Venolec is taken orally during meals. In case of venous insufficiency – 2 tablets per day (at noon and in the evening).
For acute hemorrhoids;— 6 tablets per day (3 tablets 2 times) for the first 4 days, then 4 tablets per day (2 tablets 2 times) for 3 days.
Special instructions
In case of exacerbation of hemorrhoids, the appointment of this drug does not replace the specific treatment of other symptoms of hemorrhoids.
The duration of treatment should be short.
In the event that short therapy does not have a positive effect, it is necessary to conduct a proctological examination and review the therapy used.
