Pharmacological action
Vitazhinal® is a dietary supplement for women planning pregnancy, during pregnancy, after childbirth and breastfeeding. It is known that during preparation and during pregnancy and lactation itself, a woman’s body needs more vitamins and trace elements, an insufficient amount of which can cause negative changes in the body of the mother or fetus. In such a situation, their additional intake is rational not only during pregnancy, but also during its planning, and during lactation. Taking a balanced complex of vital elements”Vitazhinal” will make up for the already existing deficit of the necessary components of a healthy diet, which will favorably affect both the health of the woman and the development of the fetus. Folic acid (vitamin B9) plays a crucial role in the development of the fetal nervous system and ensuring its normal growth. In the early stages of pregnancy, it reduces the risk of developing nervous system defects in the fetus, as well as the risk of malformations of the maxillofacial region. Folic acid takes part in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides, and nucleic acids; it is necessary for the normal growth and development of red blood cells. During pregnancy, it performs to a certain extent a protective function in relation to the action of adverse factors, which is especially necessary during the period of intensive fetal growth for cell growth and division. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, normalizes the formation of the bone skeleton and teeth; prevents the development of rickets in children. Taking it also helps prevent bone loss in the mother and reduces the risk of developing osteoporosis. Iodine is a vital trace element necessary for the normal functioning of the thyroid gland in the mother. Thyroid hormones perform many functions, including regulating the metabolism of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and energy in the body, the activity of the brain, nervous and cardiovascular systems, sexual and mammary glands, as well as the growth and development of the fetus. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid belonging to the Omega-3 family. It plays an irreplaceable role in the development of the child’s brain and retina. Its deficiency in the mother’s body is also associated with an increased risk of premature birth and low fetal weight at birth. During pregnancy and lactation, the need for DHA increases by 2.5 times compared to the usual physiological need, so during this period of a woman’s life, an additional intake is required. Vitamin E (D-alpha tocopherol – is a natural antioxidant that has antioxidant activity against DHA. It is involved in the process of cell growth, the most important processes of tissue metabolism, protein synthesis and hemoglobin. It has a positive effect on the functions of skeletal muscles, heart and blood vessels, and sex glands. Prevents increased blood clotting and has a positive effect on peripheral blood circulation. A lack of vitamin E in the early stages of pregnancy can cause miscarriage.
