Suppositories are white to white with a yellowish or grayish-brownish tinge of color, torpedo-shaped.

Pharmacological action

Vitaprost® has an organotropic effect on the prostate gland. Reduces the degree of edema, leukocyte infiltration of the prostate gland, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secretion of acinuses, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder. Improves microcirculation in the prostate gland by reducing thrombosis, antiplatelet activity, prevents the development of venous thrombosis in the prostate gland. Vitaprost® normalizes prostate and ejaculate parameters. Reduces pain and discomfort, eliminates dysuric phenomena, improves copulatory function.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Rectally,1 suppository after spontaneous bowel movement or enema 1 time a day. After the introduction of the suppository, it is advisable for the patient to stay in bed for 30-40 minutes. The duration of treatment with Vitaprost® is at least 10 days.
