Composition

Capsules are soft gelatinous;

Pharmacological action

The pharmacological action of the product is determined primarily by the content of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid).

These acids are structural components of cell membranes, contribute to lowering the level of cholesterol in the blood, reduce the content of triglycerides as a result of a decrease in the concentration of very low-density lipoproteins, reduce platelet aggregation, and improve the rheological properties of blood.

Indications

prevention of conditions caused by dyslipidemia (lipid metabolism disorders);

– complex therapy of lipid metabolism disorders, including diet, statins, antiplatelet agents.

Contraindications

-chronic cholecystitis and pancreatitis (and periods of their exacerbation);

– simultaneous use of fibrates, oral anticoagulants;

– with severe injuries, surgical operations (due to the risk of increased bleeding time);

— pregnancy;

— lactation;

— children’s age;

— hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions, decreased blood clotting, exacerbation of chronic cholecystitis and pancreatitis/diarrhea, fish breath.

Interaction

Patients undergoing treatment for cardiovascular diseases or taking medications that affect the rate of blood clotting are not recommended to take fish oil.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Take 1-2 capsules 3 times a day after meals, washed down with cold or lukewarm water.

It is recommended to immediately swallow the capsules, washing them down with plenty of water, do not keep them in your mouth for a long time, because gelatin, which is part of the shell, can make the capsule sticky, which will make it difficult to swallow later.

The course of treatment is 2-3 months. Next, it is recommended to do a general blood test and continue taking the drug, depending on the results.

Overdose

Symptoms: possible exacerbation of cholelithiasis and chronic pancreatitis.

Treatment: symptomatic, drug withdrawal.

Special instructions
