camphor 5 g
eucalyptus oil 1.5 g
Gum turpentine 5 g
Auxiliary substances:
thymol – 0.25 g,
cedar oil-0.45 g,
soft white paraffin-up to 100 g.

Pharmacological action
A combined drug, the action of which is due to the components that make up its composition.
It has a local irritant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
Reducing the degree of nasal congestion with a single application of the drug is observed up to 8 hours.
Indications
As part of the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by:
- runny nose;
- stuffy nose;
- cough and sore throat.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Vix Active Balm is not recommended for children under 2 years of age, pregnant women and during lactation.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
- Tendency to laryngo-and bronchospasm.

- False croup (acute stenosing laryngotracheitis).
- Cough caused by the accumulation of phlegm (mucus).
- Prolonged or chronic cough caused by smoking or emphysema.

How to take, course of use and dosage
The drug is intended for external use (rubbing) in adults and children over 2 years of age.
The ointment should be rubbed with light movements 2-4 times / day into the skin of the chest with a runny nose and stuffy nose; in the skin of the neck-with a cough and sore throat; in the skin of the back – with a cough. The average duration of treatment is up to 5 days.
Overdose
Symptoms: skin irritation at the sites of application of the drug, bronchospasm, laryngospasm.
Treatment: The excess amount of ointment can be removed with a gauze or paper towel soaked in vegetable oil. In case of bronchospasm or laryngospasm, you should immediately consult a doctor.
Special instructions
Do not swallow.
Do not apply the product to the skin around the nose and/or face.
Avoid contact with the drug in the eyes, on the mucous membranes of the nose, and in the oral cavity. If the ointment accidentally gets into the eyes and mucous membranes, it is recommended to rinse thoroughly with water.
Never heat the product or use it in a heated state.
After rubbing, the clothing covering the area of application of the drug should not be too tight.
If your health does not improve within 5 days or it gets worse, you should consult a doctor.
Influence on the ability to drive motor vehicles and manage mechanisms
The use of the drug does not have a negative effect: on the ability to perform potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions. (including driving a car and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms).
