Pharmacodynamics
The drug reduces capillary permeability, strengthens the vascular wall, stabilizes the cell membrane, inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces blood clotting and viscosity, has anti-aggregation and antihypoxic effects.
Pharmacokinetics
The drug quickly penetrates the eye tissue, where it is deposited and metabolized. In the tissues of the eye, the concentration is higher than in the blood. 5 metabolites were found, represented by dealkylated and conjugated products of its transformation. It is metabolized in the liver. Metabolites are excreted by the kidneys. It binds to plasma proteins by an average of 42%.
Indications
-treatment and prevention of corneal inflammation and burns;
– treatment of hemorrhages in the anterior chamber of the eye;
– treatment and prevention of hemorrhages in the sclera in the elderly;
– thrombosis of the central retinal vein and its branches;
– treatment of complications of myopia;
– diabetic retinopathy.

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age
Side effects
Possible burning sensation, itching, short-term conjunctival hyperemia, local allergic reactions. If any of the side effects listed in the instructions get worse, or you do not notice any other side effects that are not listed in the instructions, tell your doctor.
Interaction
The drug should not be mixed with other medicinal solutions.
How to take, course of use and dosage
The drug is instilled in the conjunctival cavity 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease (usually 3 – 30 days) and is determined by the doctor. If there are indications and the drug is well tolerated, the course of treatment can be continued for up to 6 months or repeated 2-3 times a year.
