Valerian tincture 10 ml

Menthol or racemic menthol 0.2 g

Pharmacological action

of Zelenin drops-sedative, antispasmodic.

Pharmacodynamics

of Belladonna leaf has m-cholinoblocking and antispasmodic effects. Prevents the stimulating effect of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces the tone of the muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV conduction. Dilates the pupils, impedes the outflow of intraocular fluid, increases intraocular pressure, causes paralysis of accommodation.

Lily of the valley tincture has a cardiotonic effect.

Valerian rhizome with roots has a sedative and antispasmodic effect. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep. The sedative effect is slow, but fairly stable.

Menthol is a local irritant, has a venotonizing, analgesic, reflex coronary dilating and antianginal effect.

Indications

As a sedative for functional disorders of the cardiovascular system, increased nervous excitability, complex therapy of chronic heart failure.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, glaucoma, endocarditis, myocarditis.

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions to the components of the drug, muscle weakness, headache.

Interaction

The drug enhances the effect of sleeping pills and other medications that depress the central nervous system.

How to take, course of use and dosage

The dosage is set individually. Adults are prescribed inside 20-25 drops 2-3 times a day. The duration of use of the drug is determined individually by the doctor.
