Composition

Active ingredient:

zinc oxide – 10 g.

Auxiliary substance:

vaseline medical-90 g

Pharmacological action

Pharmaceutical group:

anti-inflammatory agent for topical application.

Pharmaceutical action:  

Anti-inflammatory local remedy, has a drying, adsorbing, astringent and antiseptic effect. It forms albuminates and denatures proteins.

When applied to the affected surface, it reduces the phenomena of exudation, inflammation and irritation of tissues, forms a protective barrier against the action of irritating factors.

Indications

“Diaper” dermatitis, diaper rash, sweating, superficial wounds, burns, dermatitis, ulcerative skin lesions, bedsores; eczema in the acute stage, herpes simplex, streptoderma, trophic ulcers.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions to the drug are possible: itching, hyperemia, allergic reactions in the places where the ointment is applied.

How to take, course of use and dosage

For external use only.

“Diaper rash” in infants.

Treatment: Wash and dry the affected area before use. When the first signs of redness, diaper rash or slight skin irritation appear, the ointment is applied 3 or more times a day, if necessary, usually with any change of diapers (diapers).

Prevention: apply to the skin covered with a diaper or diapers before signs of irritation appear, especially before going to bed, when the child may be in wet diapers for a long time.

Cuts, scratches, and burns

Apply a thin layer, if necessary, apply a gauze bandage.

Apply only to superficial and uninfected lesions.

Photo-contact dermatitis

The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 1-3 times a day.

Special instructions

Do not allow the ointment to get into the eyes.

The ointment should not be applied if there is an infection on the damaged skin.
