Methylthionitrooxodihydrotriazolotriazinide sodium dihydrate ( triazavirin) – 250 mg.
Auxiliary substances:
Calcium stearate – 2 mg;

Pharmacological action
Pharmacodynamics :
The Active ingredient of the drug is a synthetic analog of the bases of purine nucleosides (guanine) with a pronounced antiviral effect. It has a wide spectrum of antiviral activity against RNA-containing viruses.
The main mechanism of action of the drug is inhibition of viral RNA synthesis and replication of genomic fragments.
Pharmacokinetics:
After oral use, it is rapidly absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract. The maximum concentration (Withtax) is reached on average in 1-1.5 hours. Withtax at the recommended dosage regimen, it averages 4.8 mcg/ml. The blood AUC is 12.8 mcg / h * ml. The elimination half-life (Ti/2) is 1-1.5 hours.
From 15 to 45% of the drug is excreted unchanged by the kidneys. The average calculated clearance is 246 ml/min.
Indications
Treatment of flu in adults. If necessary, the drug should be combined with the use of symptomatic drugs.

Side effects

Interaction
Interaction with analogues of purine and pyrimidine bases during antitumor therapy may lead to increased toxicity of the drug. When used concomitantly with ribavirin, a reduction in the dose of ribavirin is required.
How to take, course of use and dosage
Triazavirin® is administered orally regardless of food intake.
The drug should be taken no later than the 2nd day after the onset of the disease (the appearance of clinical symptoms),1 capsule (250 mg) 3 times a day (daily dose-750 mg) for 5 days. If necessary, the treatment can be continued for up to 7 days.
Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, dyspeptic disorders, stomach pain.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy. If these symptoms occur, you should stop taking the drug.
